20–23 November 2026 | Maharishi Peace Palace, Suffolk
I warmly invite you to join me for a special Maharishi Yoga Retreat at the beautiful Maharishi Peace Palace in Suffolk.
Set within a peaceful environment dedicated to Maharishi's knowledge, this intimate retreat offers an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and create some precious time for yourself — to practise, reflect, rest and reconnect.
Maharishi Yoga is much more than physical movement. Through the practice of Maharishi Yoga Asanas, pranayama and meditation, we can cultivate greater balance, awareness and inner stillness.
Whether you are already familiar with Maharishi Yoga or are simply curious to experience it, this retreat provides a supportive and welcoming environment in which to explore the practices at your own pace.
The retreat will offer a gentle rhythm of practice, learning, rest and connection. There will be opportunities to deepen your understanding of the practices, while also having plenty of time to enjoy the Peace Palace and its surroundings.
There is no expectation to be flexible or physically advanced.
There is nothing to achieve and nothing to prove.
This is simply an invitation to slow down, turn inward and experience the benefits of taking some time away from your usual routine.
Throughout the retreat, there will be opportunities to experience:
Maharishi Yoga Asanas
Pranayamas
Sun Salutaions
Meditation
Time for learning, reflection and personal practice
Time to relax, walk and enjoy the peaceful surroundings
A warm and supportive retreat community
Three vegetarian meals each day

This Maharishi Yoga Course will include a selection of Maharishi’s talks on the profundity of yoga and, at the same time, provide the most profound practical instruction in the practise of yoga.
Raja Peter will lead the course through Maharishi’s deepest knowledge of yoga.
Samantha is a professional yoga teacher who has trained extensively in Maharishi Yoga and will guide everyone in the physical practise with ease and expertise.
Initially, Maharishi had focused on the practise of Transcendental Meditation but later he added an extensive focus in yoga practise, which Samantha has fully mastered.
Maharishi Yoga is practised easily, comfortably, and naturally, without strain, force or control, slowly, and with full attention. The practice is original, authentic, holistic, systematic and natural. It is practised for about 15-20 minutes twice daily before meditation.
This set of Asanas and Pranayama provides levels of preparation that sequentially progress from more active to quieter, from grosser to subtler effects on mind-body integration. They are the perfect preparation for Transcendental Meditation.
Maharishi Yoga includes a number of different modalities, each with its own purpose and practical value in improving one’s health and well-being. These include Maharishi Yoga Asanas (Foundation & Advanced), Surya Namaskar, Special Yoga Sequences, Chair Yoga, & six Therapeutic Pranayamas.
